Level 1 — Close Quarter Battle | December 10, 2022

Level 1 — Close Quarter Battle leverages the foundations of pistol and rifle marksmanship by underscoring the use of environment, movement and mindset to achieve an elevated level of quick thinking, judgement and execution.

During this 1-day period of instruction, Loudoun Tactical will implement and reinforce foundational concepts of Close Quarter Battle through the industry's most revenant methodologies directly from the battlefield. Leaving no stone unturned, students will graduate the course with a comprehensive understanding of the “why” behind the fundamentals of Close Quarter Battle and be able to confidently operate their weapon system not only safely, but also effectively in confined spaces under elevated stress.

• Rifle / Pistol Transition Drills
• 2-man & 4-man Room Entry
• Target Acquisition Speed Drills
• Proper Clearing of Dead Space
• Shoot / No Shoot Judgment Drills
• Footwork & Movement Within Shoot House
• Hallway, Center Fed, & Corner Fed Room Clearance

Required Equipment:

• Semi-Automatic Pistol
• Semi-Automatic Rifle (AR Platform Mandatory)
• Serviceable Plate Carrier and or Gun Belt
• Serviceable Magazines
• 3 Pistol / 3 Rifle Minimum
• Serviceable Magazine Pouches
• 2 Pistol / 2 Rifle Minimum
• Inside or Outside the Waistband Holster (Kydex or Leather)
  • Drop Leg or Belt Worn (No Serpa)
• Functional Sling (2-Point VTAC Style Recommended)
• Medical Kit (Belt or Vest Worn)
• Weapon Lubrication & Cleaning Kit
• Climate Appropriate Range Attire
• Proper Ear & Eye Protection
• Positive Attitude
• AMMUNITION
• UTM ROUNDS & BLUE BOLTS/UPPERS WILL BE PROVIDED ON SITE AND ARE PRE-FACTORED INTO THE COURSE COST

All students must be 18 years of age in order to participate in all Loudoun Tactical courses.

Full payment is due at registration. Cancellations more than 30 days before the course date are refunded 50%. Cancellations within 30 days of the course are non-refundable, however, a full credit can be applied to a later course date if available.

For your safety considerations, shooting drills require varying levels of physical exertion and result in an elevated heart rate. No audio or video recording is permitted in class due to the privacy required by the cadre members. Certificates are given upon completion of the course.
