Intermediate — Night Operations | March 11-12

Intermediate — Night Operations is a foundational course set to establish technical and physical skillsets while utilizing white light, IR laser, and night optical/observation devices (NODs).

Throughout the course, students will engage threats, manipulate weapons and work as a team to successfully negotiate complex shooting scenarios under low light to no light conditions.

  • Strong Side /  Support Side Shooting Techniques 
  • No Light / White Light Application Drills
  • IR Laser Rapid Target Engagement Under Stress
  • Linear Engagement of Multiple Targets
  • Steel Target Assault Course & Confidence Drills

Required Equipment:

  • Semi-Automatic Rifle (AR/AK Platforms Recommended)
  • Serviceable Plate Carrier and or Battle Belt
  • Serviceable Magazines
    • 3 Minimum
  • Serviceable Magazine Pouches
    • 2 Minimum
  • Rail Mounted Laser Device (PEQ-15, DBAL, etc.)
    • Can Be Rented Prior to Course For Additional Fee
  • Rifle Optic (Red Dot Preferred) 
  • Night Optical/Observation Device (NODs/NVGs)
    • Can Be Rented Prior to Course For Additional Fee
  • Serviceable Helmet with NODs Mount
  • Functional Sling (2-Point VTAC Style Recommended)
  • 800 Pistol Rounds
  • 1000 Rifle Rounds 
    • No Steel Core, armor piercing or tracer ammunition
  • Medical Kit (Belt or Vest Worn)
  • Weapon Lubrication & Cleaning Kit
  • Climate Appropriate Range Attire
  • Proper Ear & Eye Protection
  • Positive Mental Attitude


For your safety considerations, shooting drills require varying levels of physical exertion and result in an elevated heart rate. No audio or video recording is permitted in class due to the privacy required by the cadre members. Certificates are given upon completion of the course.

This course is recommended for those who have previously received formal instruction and or have a thorough understanding of firearm fundamentals and can demonstrate safe firearm handling skills. If you are uncertain or have any questions, email or message us.

Prior to attending any Loudoun Tactical course, students must complete the liability form found under Admin tab in the navigation bar.

Please provide the full name, current address and age of attendee during sign up if registering for anyone other than yourself. If purchasing multiple course slots, please provide the full name, current address and age of the additional students respectively. All students must be 18 years of age in order to participate in all Loudoun Tactical courses.

Full payment is due at registration. Cancellations more than 30 days before the course date are refunded 50%. Cancellations within 30 days of the course are non-refundable, however, a full credit can be applied to a later course date if available.
